The Oxchair with matching footstool |
 |
The Oxchair is one of Wegner’s most significant chairs. Its special feature is the large headrest that spreads out on each side. Combined with the wide arms, it provides great sitting comfort.
The Oxchair combines a large corpus with a light steel leg construction. Still it is very stable and light. It is a chair that shapes the room.
Wegner was inspired by nature to create the Oxchair's shape of an abstract bull.

The chair is very decorative and appears elegant as a single chair or as a group of 2, 3 or more chairs - for instance together with a round table.

CH29 - a very comfortable, space saving chair |
 |
Wegner’s CH29 Chair was designed in 1952 and is mainly used in private dining rooms but also restaurants have recognized its comfort in combination with its space saving dimensions. The seat is wider in the front, which along with the heavily curved back makes the chair very comfortable.
The cutting out in the sides of the back, the pointed legs and the elaborate execution of the joint between front legs and back legs are details that make the chair a distinctive and sculptural piece of furniture
