PP Møbler

		PP Møbler is a family owned workshop, founded in 1953. In 1999 the day-to-day management was passed over from Ejnar Pedersen to Søren Holst Pedersen, managing director. 20 Employees are in the company, which manufactures and sells furniture designed by outstanding Danish architects. At the workshop our skilled cabinet makers take great care over the quality of the unique details in the furniture. Today, PP Møbler ’s production is mainly based on Hans Wegner’s designs.

PP Møbler’s production is a combination of craftmanship and industrial manufacturing. If a machine can do a better job than a craftsman, the machine will be used. In every other process, the furniture is handcrafted. In 1991, when a previous manufacturer of Wegner models, Johannes Hansen, discontinued his business, PP Møbler acquired the licenses for selected Wegner models – products, that today are world famous Wegner modern classics. A key priority for PP Møbler is to obtain the very best quality materials for the production, thereby ensuring the quality product that Wegner requested.

		Environmental Policy: Planted forests supply the principal material. When buying materials, the best possible environmentally neutral ones are chosen. Scrap wood is reused amongst other for energy purposes. Other scrap products are reused. PP Møbler’s production is environmentally approved according to current Danish legislation. Wood is the dominating material in the furniture.

“Chair” PP980 Design Hans & Lise Isbrand

The Circle Chair PP130 is one of Hans Wegner’s latest and most striking designs. The flag halyard back is woven through the frame with a single piece of cord. Integrated handles and wheels allow the user to easily move the piece. This modern classic is a favorite with everybody.
