Among Kvadrat’s designers you will find such prominent names as Nanna Ditzel, Erik Ole Jørgensen, Finn Sködt, Frans Dijkmeijer, Georgina Wright and Ole Kortzau. Developing and supplying high-quality textiles always comes first at Kvadrat. That means the setting where the work is done must also be of the highest quality. The company is located in a natural beauty spot close to Ebeltoft, Denmark, up in the hills with an outlook that affords sweeping panoramic views. The redbrick buildings are a good example of modern Danish architecture firmly rooted in Danish tradition. ![]() Kvadrat operates through a network of 28 textile factories and print-works distributed such that there is some production activity in almost every country in Western Europe. Each product has its own special area, for example quality woolen worsted yarns. This combination of networking and specialization ensures that Kvadrat achieves the highest possible product quality, thus helping to set the industry's quality standards. Since 1992, Kvadrat has been ISO 9001 certified. The fully documented quality management system highlights the company’s objective: the systematic combination of high quality and common sense. |

| Kvadrat places great emphasis on the need to be able to deliver uniform quality quickly and dependably, year after year. Kvadrat always has stocks of approx. 850,000 m available for immediate delivery. With the conferring of environmental certification under ISO 14001 in 1997, Kvadrat has embarked on a development with the aim of continually reducing environmental impact resulting from its products and work processes. In 2001, Kvadrat entered into a strategic partnership about mutual distribution with the USA’s most innovative textile company Maharam of New York. |
