Domino, 1953
The Domino carpet was designed in 1953 for Unika Væv and used in Finn Juhl’s test apartment in Bellahøj. The measures of each carpet-unit is 70 x 140 cm. The simplicity of the pattern in more colors makes the carpet addition-able to a larger carpet, which still gives a unified look. |
| He gained international renown as an interior designer for his work on the Trusteeship Council Chamber at United Nations headquarters in New York. As an exhibition architect, he was the man behind the major showings of Danish applied art abroad, which created the concept "Danish design" and paved the way for the Danish furniture industry's export triumphs in the 1960s. Chieftains chair, 1949. Probably the most well-known chair designed for Cabinet maker’s exhibition in Copenhagen in 1949. Through time the chair has been manufactured by various cabinet makers, but this new edition is manufactured by Hansen & Sørensen and this in the original execution from 1949. This form and expression is unique. |

Sofa Model 57/Lounge table Ross Sofa Model 57, is sculpturally shaped and upholstered in accordance with good craftsmanship, was first presented in Tivoli in 1957. The legs are made of brushed stainless steel with wooden toes. The Ross Coffee Table is from 1948 and is available in brushed stainless steel with veneered tabletop with a stainless steel oval and vases of steel that go with the table.
